1.2 The main activity and professional background of the enterprise
The company started operating in Budapest in May 1982, as the Industrial Service Unit of Rákosvölgye Mgtsz, as the country’s first industrial TEFLON ® coating plant. It is typical of the initial period that, in addition to the continuous development of the technology, the versatile possibilities of the industrial application of TEFLON ® coatings had to be promoted (corrosion protection, dry lubrication, mold separation, utilization in the food industry, etc.). The result of continuous, targeted plant development was the agreement that was established in 1992 between DuPont de Nemours (Belgium) and TEN-LINE Kft.
For the application of the TEFLON ® coating method, the Chemours company has developed an independent coating network in different parts of the world. In this context, the plant

“Registered industrial coater of Chemours TEFLON® coating method”
provided it with a title. According to the agreement, the plant uses Chemours coating technology, according to the specifications and quality requirements issued by Chemours. In 1985, due to the rapid increase in production, the expansion of the plant became absolutely necessary, at which time it moved to Mogyoró, the current site. In the new facility, it was possible to expand the range of activities. From then on, the plant also deals with powder coating.
The powder coating system belongs to the group of modern surface protection systems. Its purpose is to modify the surface properties of objects made of metal, basically in accordance with corrosion and aesthetic requirements. The powder coating is a polyester or epoxy-polyester-based, heat-hardening lacquer paint, applied to the surface of the workpiece with an electrostatic hand sprayer. By placing the sprinkled workpiece in a heat treatment oven, a continuous, well-adherent, hard, flexible, highly impact- and wear-resistant, weather-resistant coating is formed on its surface as a result of the heat treatment at the prescribed temperature and duration.
The powder coating has many advantages over traditional lacquer paints, not only in terms of usage properties, but also in terms of production technology:
- The use of organic solvents, the associated risk of fire and explosion, the risk of health damage due to solvent vapors and environmental pollution can be completely eliminated.
- Productivity is higher, a coating with the appropriate layer thickness can be formed in one step.
It is also suitable for covering strongly segmented, shaped surfaces. - Transport, storage and use are cost-saving, as no special precautions are necessary.
In addition to its many advantages, the powder coating also has some disadvantageous technological features:
- It can be carried out under installed operating conditions, using special equipment.
- Meeting the standard requirements for the quality of the coating imposes strict and expensive technical requirements on technological, regulatory and measuring devices.
- Due to the closed technology used, the size of the equipment clearly determines which size range the plant can undertake surface treatment of workpieces.
This procedure has been spreading rapidly in the last ten years. Previously, it was only used for relatively small machine parts and equipment. Today, thanks to the expansion of the range of powder coating and the improvement in quality, its use in the construction and installation industry is becoming more and more widespread. Today, modern aluminum building structures are manufactured exclusively, and a significant part of steel building structures is made of pre-powder-coated fiber materials.
In recent years, this area has tied up the largest part of our production capacity, and our most significant reference works were made here.
1.2 Characteristics of the business, technical features of the site
The following large internal combustion furnaces are also available in our factory:
(length x height x width)
– 6000 x 2750 x 2400 mm
– 8000 x 2200 x 1400 mm
The size of the workpieces must be smaller than the above due to the ability to hang and fasten.
The 7,600 m2 property has a 900 m2 workshop, 240 m2 warehouse and 100 m2 office for the continuation of the main business.
Currently, the number of employees is 15. The current technical equipment of the plant is approx. It enables the coating of 10,000 m2 of workpiece surface.
